Delta Electronics to Rebuild Thailand Factory

Delta Electronics will rebuild its BP1 factory and BP1-P building in Thailand, according to a September 21 filing. The subsidiary, Delta Electronics (Thailand) Public Company Limited, approved the reconstruction on July 24. The project’s estimated total cost is THB 3.2 billion, with a THB 1.58 billion contract awarded to Sinohydro Corporation Limited for civil engineering work.

The rebuilding is intended to support future business development. The company also issued a clarification regarding a report in the Industry and Commerce Times indicating analysts expect double-digit sequential revenue growth in the fourth quarter. Delta Electronics stated it did not provide the financial forecast, directing investors to publicly available information.

The factory reconstruction suggests a commitment to expanding manufacturing capacity in Southeast Asia. The company did not disclose specific production goals or timelines tied to the rebuild. Investors will likely monitor capital expenditure reports and future capacity utilization rates to assess the impact of the project.
