GE Aerospace Raises 2026 Guidance on Strong Demand

GE Aerospace is raising its financial outlook for 2026 following strong year-to-date performance, citing robust demand for both engines and related services. The company now anticipates revenue growth in the range of 19-20%, an increase from prior guidance of high-teens growth. This revision reflects increased engine deliveries and a strengthening backlog, driven by new deals with major airlines including United, Delta, American, Copa, and IndiGo.

The anticipated uplift in financial performance is also reflected in improved credit ratings. In February 2026, Moody's upgraded GE Aerospace’s long-term rating from A3 to A2, alongside a positive outlook. S&P followed suit in April, revising their outlook from stable to positive while affirming their A- long-term rating. These upgrades indicate growing confidence in the company’s financial position and future prospects.

GE Aerospace attributes the positive momentum to increased investment in manufacturing and overhaul facilities, alongside improvements in material availability. The company is actively expanding its service network and deploying engineering resources to increase production capacity and improve yields. The company continues to strengthen its external global MRO network, adding Iberia as the seventh Premier MRO and expanding Delta TechOps capabilities for both LEAP 1-A and LEAP 1-B engines.

While the company highlights positive developments in the aerospace sector and its own internal operations, several risks remain. Macroeconomic conditions, market volatility, and potential disruptions to supply chains are cited as potential headwinds. Further, the filing acknowledges risks related to government defense priorities, regulatory changes, and cybersecurity threats.

GE Aerospace’s revised guidance and credit rating improvements signal a strengthening financial trajectory. The company's ability to capitalize on growing demand within the aviation industry, coupled with strategic investments in production and service capabilities, positions it to navigate ongoing macroeconomic uncertainties, even as external risks remain prominent.
