Largan Precision Q3 Profit Jumps 21.7% as Revenue Climbs

Largan Precision Co. saw its net income climb 21.7% year-over-year to TWD 16.165 billion in the third quarter of 2026, according to filings with the Taiwan Stock Exchange. This increase was underpinned by a 17.4% rise in revenue to TWD 44.86 billion, signaling continued strong demand for the company’s lens technology.

The profit jump occurred alongside a notable increase in operating expenses, which rose to TWD 5.34 billion – a figure that partially offset the gains from revenue and non-operating income, which totaled TWD 3.78 billion. Despite the rising expenses, Largan maintained a healthy operating income of TWD 15.69 billion. The company's strong financial position is further reflected in its balance sheet, which shows total equity exceeding TWD 193.35 billion as of September 30th, 2026.

Largan’s current assets totaled TWD 145.89 billion, while total liabilities remained manageable at TWD 28.01 billion. This robust equity position, translating to a book value per share of TWD 1,462.73, provides financial flexibility as the company navigates a dynamic market. The Q3 results show Largan's ability to capitalize on growth in the semiconductor supply chain, benefiting from broader Taiwanese corporate earnings growth, but also demonstrate the impact of increased operating costs on overall profitability.

The Q3 profit increase contrasts with a broader trend of margin moderation observed in the regional banking sector, suggesting Largan is successfully navigating inflationary pressures affecting regional peers. The company's sustained performance, with a clear revenue and profit increase, positions it favorably within the technology-focused ETF landscape, given its key role in mobile device lens manufacturing.
