MGM China Reports Revenue Rise in Q3 Through Parent's Results

MGM China Holdings Limited reported a rise in revenue for the third quarter of 2026, reaching HK$8.93 billion, according to unaudited results released by its controlling shareholder, MGM Resorts International. This represents a 4.9% increase compared to the HK$8.51 billion reported for the same period in 2025.

These figures are derived from MGM Resorts International’s Form 10-Q quarterly report filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and are presented under Generally Accepted Accounting Principles of the United States. MGM China cautions investors that these results, while providing insight into the Group’s performance, are not directly comparable to financials prepared under IFRS Accounting Standards, which MGM China uses for its own reporting. MGM Resorts International reported MGM China achieved a record quarterly revenue and market share of 17.1%.

Adjusted EBITDA for MGM China also showed stability, coming in at HK$2.39 billion for the quarter, slightly above the HK$2.37 billion recorded in the third quarter of 2025. Detailed operational statistics reveal that MGM Macau’s main floor table games drop decreased to HK$12.63 billion from HK$14.48 billion year-over-year, while MGM Cotai experienced an increase in main floor table games drop to HK$16.25 billion from HK$17.37 billion. VIP turnover also saw mixed results, falling at both properties.

The financial data highlights a nuanced performance, with revenue growth driven by wider market trends, while key operational metrics like table game drop present a more complex picture. The company's reporting structure, relying on consolidated results from its parent company, necessitates caution when interpreting the figures. As of September 30, 2026, MGM Resorts International beneficially owned approximately 56% of MGM China’s issued share capital.

These results reflect the operating performance of MGM China as integrated into MGM Resorts International’s wider financial picture. The unaudited financial results detail revenue and EBITDA statistics, along with key gaming metrics such as drop and win percentage for both MGM Macau and MGM Cotai, providing a snapshot of the company’s performance within the competitive Macau gaming market.
